VST State Machine behaviour when working on scenario
vst ver 139 (from update 1.94)
The 'Run Scenario' feature executes the game from the mod folder, this means that any changes made to the scenario are saved back to the mod. Once a state machines cursor has been set in the .sbc config file there seems to be no way to reset it. Currently changing the xml field <firstrun> to true does not reset the state machine. Once a game has been run from Run Scenario, the cursor is stuck and you can never re-trigger the GameStarted event.
The current work-around is to 'Run' (as instance) the scenario, make changes and then copy the .sbs files back to the mod folder.
Once a world is run, many changes are applied to the .sbc file. It would be useful to be able to 'Run From Start' (so to speak) resetting all states and variables while keeping factions and other data. It would be nice to have a 'Clean World' feature too, that removes players ID's, positions and inventories, resets the time elapsed, economy and other bits and pieces.
