Unusual Soft freeze, Assembler UI Freeze (Modded)

My current issue is as follows:
During one of my Martian Campaigns with me mates, we came across a bottleneck in our refining. so we thought we should double our Assemblers. now we've been playing for 2 days with no issues, hopes are high, Ice is stocked.
I go to build a second assembler. All good! now this is the issue part. I've been using the UI of the first Assembler just fine. but once i've built the second, I open the HUD for the second assembler and then BAM! the game soft lock freezes. I hear the game running as usual, the assembler is building, the Refinery is as loud as ever. but i can't move, the screen is frozen and not even the Wind generator is rotating.
Please halp.
