Tank tracks

As simple as it sounds, tracks could add a whole lot of new vehicle options to the game. The small ships could be cargo crawlers, while large ships could be mobile bases. I imagine them having more strenght and power, plus being able to turn on a dime, but make them have a speed limit of maybe 200km/h.
