Smaller suspension on wheels

I have played the game for some years now and [Its an amazing game, good job btw], but I have always wanted a smaller suspension for wheels. For the 1x1 and 3x3 wheels we have the suspension that goes quite far away from the vehicle. Wouldnt it be better [and more realistic] to add a smaller suspension system [more like a actual car perhaps?]? The vehicles we make are always a certain blocks wide, (in my opinion a bit too wide)
