What it does: Like atmospheric thrusters, aircraft propellers add a means of powered flight in atmosphere, though at a slower speed. An aircraft propeller is a cheap, easy to make block for the early game, when resources are scarce, or as an alternative to atmospheric thrusters when building craft specifically for aerodynamic physics. The slower airspeed gained, however, means that the craft will be more vulnerable to enemy attack, and they are not fond of collisions as they will break somewhat easily on impact. Like wings and control surfaces, aircraft propellers are affected by aerodynamic physics, and begin losing power and efficiency at higher altitudes.
Why should it be added: As a low power, cheap alternative to the atmospheric thruster, it would be good for early game on planet starts.
