Snapshots for Timer Blocks

The timer block has some pretty useful features. It's great for creating macros for multiple state changes in terminal blocks. Up to 81 block or block group status changes can be registered at once. That's a pretty powerful tool.

But what's missing is to be able to set an exact value for player set an exact value for variables that can be manually adjusted with a slider with the ability to enter in an exact value. If the timer block also contained this functionality it would become a much more powerful tool for those using it.

As far as functionality, if there was a way to insert a snapshot... by shift dragging any group or block available in the Timer Block GUI into the hotbar normally associated with that action. From there the same layout for the terminal screen will show up but differentiate itself... maybe by using a different background or something. Editing a value by dragging a bar or manually entering in a value will not change those blocks but store the value associated with that variable all governed by the same rules the terminal block GUI uses but with a way to set the values and then return to the Timer Block main GUI.

But the bottom-line is a way to set exact values from the Timer Block. This can even be an option to be toggled on and off on game servers should it become problematic if there's a bug or quality of experience issue due to misuse.

Changing the stops on rotors or the extend/retract distances to specific values... setting the exact range of turrets... altering suspension and power settings for vehicles... changing lighting color (red alert status anyone?). I love the programmable block... don't get me wrong. But it's not always suitable for usage on servers considering it's an all or nothing entry point for individual player where the limits of the timer block should mirror a little more closely the values the GUI offers the player to punch in by hand.
