Small Sub-Grid Object Placement

Would it be possible to implement the small object placement from Medieval Engineers into Space Engineers? For example, in the former it is possible to place objects such as lights, furniture, and crafting stations within a grid cube without occupying the entire cube. These objects remain fixed in place, but multiple objects can be placed within one cube, as each object's boundaries conform closely to the object. In Space Engineers, however, every object placed within a grid must occupy an entire grid cube; this means that a tiny ceiling light cannot coexist with a small chair, even if the two are physically nowhere near one another. This creates some frustrating space management constraints, forcing players to use more blocks than necessary when creating large grids. Adapting the system used in Medieval Engineers would alleviate these constraints, and make equipping and furnishing large grids a much smoother process.

Cheers!
