Programmable Block code language - beginner version

So C# is a somewhat difficult language for a beginner to pickup. What about implementing a version coded in Visual Basic, or even ifttt for example.
Some users have created amazing scripts (TIM / LiDAR missile scripts), but on the other hand, some people just want to make two pistons move in opposite directions followed by a short delay, and then a 90 degree rotate on a rotor. Button panels can achieve some of this, but it would be nice to have a programmable language more easily accesible to non coders / more casual PB users.
