Procedurally spaced planets

I remember when the planets had first been implemented, they'd spawn procedurally through the world (and also quite far apart from each other). I remember that they had served as landmarks and goals to move to. Then for some reason that was removed and nowadays they're available only in prefab missions, or spawned manually in Creative.

I think the option to spawn them like asteroids would give more to the game - even if that would be just the same three planets that we have currently again and again.


Or, at least, an option to spawn only those three planets, but at a random position within a volume at the world origin - so that we could have unique relative positions of the planets.
