Please Add More Basic Blocks Like This

With the addition of half blocks we REALLY need to have some more basic shapes to fully realize our ideas. We need ways to "finish off" things like corners, both inner and outer.
To this day we still can't even build a 4-sided Pyramid unless it is rotated 45 degrees. Why?
I love the game. It is one of my all-time favorite games and it always has a place on my hard drive. But sometimes it is infuriating and frustrating to no end. So many builds have been scrapped because something just doesn't work.
The new update is great btw. The Hinge Block is an amazing addition. But we need more love for the basics.
