Pirate grid "distress signal" almost totally embedded in rock

Not sure if this is by design, but one of the beacon / antenna stations which flashed its distress beacon on and off, was almost completely embedded inside of the asteroid it was attached to. I spent nearly 30 minutes with the basic drill and the right mouse button trying to dig it out to find cargo containers or things to grind down to take ownership of it. Can't even use my ship with drills because they would damage the blocks I wanted to grind down. In the future, when I find those, I'll probably just hack the antenna and then ignore the rest of it, as salvaging it would be too much a pain in the butt.
