oxygen/Ice disappears

I have a base with a tank and O2 generator, and had 400k ice stored up. It is connected by conveyor to a ship with two generators and a single tank. The ship is air tight, air vents can pressurize if i turn them on, but had been leaving off while building. I had the air vents off in my confirmation testing. I was able to confirm that while online last night, and minimal ice is used. Yet twice now when i log back in after 18 hours offline my ice and oxygen are all gone. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? I have noticed this evening that my O2 Gen is consuming .03Kg a second, yet tanks are full and all vents off. But even that would only use ~2,000 Kg, not 400k Kg. Is this a bug or feature i am not understanding.
I also noticed when transfering ice from my miner back to base tonight that I had 3 large containers on my miner that when transferred to my base container lost the contents, 120k in Ice that just vanished it seems.
