Mods that could be retooled

First off sorry about the title.. I tried over and over again and that's the best I could come up with.


So here's what I'm thinking..


1: Weapon core as an update for Space Engineers.

The change it could make would be like this.

Aluminum Armor. Basically the lightest armor in the game and no real defense.

Ceramic Armor. Basically resistant to lasers and heat. But shatter when hit with bullets and rocket's.

Light Armor (Stock Armor.) Comparable to old military Jeeps. Resistant to gun fire. But will share explosive damage with near by blocks.

Heavy Armor (Stock Armor.) Comparable to Tank Armor basically can take bullets and won't share explosive damage. But energy damage will burn through it.


Some Block packs I think the development team should have a look at to consider making standard and adding some blocks to the the gaps of.

Why you ask me? First off more shapes makes for more variety of builds and large and long blocks means larger builds would get a better frame rate when in play.


Some Mods that would make for epic expansion pack inspiration.


Exploration mod pack

I think the various planets on the workshop and water mod say's everything that needs to said.

But I think the Scientific Machines does give an indication of the potential in addition a variety of scientific devices for exploration.


Aviation Carrier pack.

Now this one would blow the doors wide open on builds.

Basically if water mod got made standard and addition of ballist tanks. Would give us submarines.

This pack could be Aircraft Mods Small Blocks GELEMI, [Mexpex] MWI - Homing Weaponry (20), Carrier Landing - Arrestor Cable and Tailhook, light concrete plus runways.

Also moring clamps and receiver block.

The Moring clamp would grab the receiver block and pull it in flush to make a solid connection.

Wall Crawler and railing. This would be for building fighter elevators. The wall Crawler would be placed on the railing to climb up and down.

The landing gear docking block would be used for parking aircraft on carriers.

We have ship and station designation.

This pack would also need support craft. The support class would basically be a special designation for builds that when connected to another grid would shutdown weapons, Engines, Gyroscopes.


Defense pack.

This pack should include reenforced versions of all blocks and corridors. These blocks would be basically reenforced against grinding.

Plus emergency forcefield these would be special placable grids that would activate when the room experience a loss air pressure.

Emergency blast doors these would be programmable doors that magnetically seal. Blast resistant and grinding resistant.

Basically the door's could be set close and seal depending on a variety of settings. Such as block damage in a certain distance, loss of air pressure a certain button.


Ground reenforces or heavy arms!

Northwind weapons, tank tracks and high weight capacity wheels and axles. This pack basically would make making B-52 stratofortress, Abrams main battle tank, The famous Navy Yamato battleship and such plus a variety of science fiction and real world tanks possible.


Please note resistant doesn't mean invincible! It means takes extra damage of that certain type of damage!
