Linux Dedicated Servers

Linux dedicated servers is my number one request for this game. I was ready to host a SE server for my friends, however, I was disappointed with the lack of Linux support. Although a Linux client would be welcomed, just a Linux server would make hosting a server much less of a hassle. Currently the only ways to host a server are to buy from a server hosting provider or setup a VPS with Windows on it, both options being unnecessarily costly. I know the developers have already confirmed they have no plans to implement this, but I find it necessary to voice my complaints so the developers are aware of the demand for this feature.
