Instant filling drills with ice

Since latest updates (it was better in the past) when my miners drills touch Ice they almost instant fill the cargo space.
I dont see the point in building a miner and have screens and monitors with status displays etc. when you can fill all the cargo of the ship within seconds.
This should be reduced significantly.
If everything in the game is way too easy the games becomes boring and people will do it once or twice and then leave and go and play other games. Its not rewarding or challenging if everything is dump plain easy and fast.
