Important idea for the new DLC walkways

Dear Keen Software House,
I have been using the new walkway blocks that were included with the decorative pack DLC and thought of an idea that I believe alot of people would appricate when it comes to building fully functioning ships. The idea in question suggests that the new walkway blocks should have an option or variation where there is a cutout in the middle of it, that can either be used for ladders, or for access to crates from above.
