Obviously hydrogen doesn't combust without oxygen, and you can't get more energy out of burning it than you used to separate it in the first place. I suggest you rename the hydrogen generator to something like "Micro-fusion generator" and the hydrogen thrusters to "Fusion torch" or something like that. Makes sense from a lore perspective, doesn't change the gameplay one bit.
