Hydrogen clouds in Space

IRL not only solid objects (planets, asteroids) can be found in Space, there is also a rarefied gas that may concentrate in some areas and, when you fly through, can be gathered into a hydrogen tank through a special block ("Hydrogen Collector") with a big collecting surface (like a solar panel). This surface should be oriented perpendicular to oncoming flow. Of course the accumulation process is not so fast, and depends on fly speed, total area of collecting surfaces and game balance. This block can operate only in space, and when you enter the planet atmosphere it gets damage until complete destruction. I think there is no need for visual effects of cloud of hydrogen, it can be detected only by a collector...
