Would be cool if Ground water was a thing on Earth planet. Drill deep enough and water starts filling up if you dont weld it airtight below ground
Having a "swamp" below connected to O2/H2 will slowly convert it to 02 or hydrogen. This is allso how you drain it in case of catastrophic events.
Connect multiple generators to drain it faster.
Once you dismantle underground bases or drills, it will slowly fill up with water and ice over making a new ice lake
