Dedicated server application overhaul
Being a long time SE server hoster, I have some ideas/ recommendations for the DS app and how to make it better/ more usable for people.
My recommendations for Dedicated servers:
- Improve the performance of the Dedicated Server app. (Errors that cause the app to crash.)
- Try to keep the app up to date (See how the app can be improved/ can run better.)
- Maybe put out experimental builds for us server hosters to test out for you.
- Document the usage and creation of plugins on the app. I'm very curious about the possibilities of plugins in-game. ( Possibly have discord integration as an example or other features that the Torch application already has.)
- Have a crash report portal, like the client game, where people can report the errors the server app shows.
