Decorative DLC blocks more useful

I would like the DLC blocks to be a bit more useful, and not just dead props. Things that I'm lacking is a reason to use things like the freight block or med bed scanner.
The freight blocks would be much more useful if they were also available in small grids, as a tiny rover flatbed container. With or without a small access port on the bottom.
The med bed scanner should preferably be useful to heal (or maybe even respawn on), with a build cost at least equal to or great than the real med bay. Or at least as a bed.
