Connector "Setup Actions"

This request is for some "Setup Actions" for the Connector that behave similar to the Setup Actions on the Air Vent block. The air vent executes the actions upon pressurize or depressurize, but with the connector the Setup Actions would execute upon connect or disconnect of grids.
Ultimately what I am trying to solve is this: When I dock and un-dock a ship I usually run timer blocks setup to turn on/off various things that shouldn't be on while docked. One example is an o2 generator, which I only want on while the ship is not docked so it does not use ice to supply the connected grid.
