Carbon fiber textured block edges

Hello! Thank you for the great game and updates!
I guess it's a bit late to ask, but is it possible to revert the carbon fiber textured block edges back to steel ones? The texture looks great on the block surface, but not so well on its edges. It doesn't seem practically necessary to cover construction frame edges with same material plating. And it doesn't feel much of the same idea of the default texture where the block edges differs in color from the surface.
