Camera functions and minimap
Hello there!
The camera
I'd much like to see the camera getting a new function...
Like... binding it's view to a LCD screen, to act like a surveylance camera, displaying it's image in some kind of armoured cockpit, or to see what a drone sees.
I recon it would have a fairly BIG performance impact, but will still worth it.
The map
It would be really awesome to have a map of the planet displayed somewhere in either a 2D form on LCD screen or using the holographic table we already have in game, showing our location and GPS marks on it.
...or, making a special blok to display it, in both small and large grid variants, coupled with a radar system to only show things the player detected with it. Like fog of war in strategy games.
If the map display is on a mobile platform, it should be able to change the presented map image too, while saving the exploration progress on the previously existing ones.
