Better Draw Distance for frozen armor texture

Draw distance for the frozen armor texture seems to short. It de-renders to the base coat underneath far sooner then the other armor textures. I noticed it when I was working on a tanker build, and it would de-render after moving only 10-12 large blocks away, while the other armor textures would de-render till about 3 times that distance where it's not as noticeable by that point. It really ruins the frozen effect I'm going for with the hydrogen storage holds.
