Auto-replace DLC blocks

With each new DLC added to the game it's becoming less and less likely that players actually own every single one of them, and this is becoming an increasingly big problem for the usability of the steam workshop.

If you try to load in a blueprint that uses DLCs which you don't own, any blocks from these DLCs just disappear. For some types of blocks like interior decorations this isn't a big issue, but for more functional blocks like thrusters, wheels, cockpits, or conveyors it can turn a ship completely non-functional.

As a person browsing the workshop it's an annoyance.

However, it's also an issue for creators, because it disinctivizes using DLC blocks on workshop creations for the sake of mass appeal.

For example, I really like the looks of wasteland DLC wheels. However, when I want to upload a rover to the workshop i'll probably just stick to the vanilla versions because I know that a lot of people don't own the wasteland DLC, and manually replacing all the wheels, setting up the correct slider settings, redoing any timer setups, etc. is extremely tedious.

Creating different versions of a ship for people with and without DLC is one solution, but A) it creates a lot of extra work for creators, and B) with each update adding more and more DLC blocks it becomes pretty unlikely that most players will own the exact combination needed for a ship, even if they do own most of them.

However, thankfully there is a simple solution:

Pretty much all of the DLC blocks critical to the functionality of a ship actually have vanilla counterparts with the exact same dimensions, weight, and functionality. Thus, instead of removing these blocks when loading a DLC ship, why not auto-replace them with their stock versions if the DLC isn't present, while keeping any settings, names (to keep scripts working) and timer references, if applicable.

On the technical side of things this shouldn't be too hard to implement, and as a workshop creator it would allow me to finally use DLC blocks to my heart's content without constantly worrying about whether or not a block would break the ship if it disappeared and how hard it would be for non-DLC owner to replace.

Note:

Aside from functional blocks it would also be really great if decorative blocks could also be replaced with other things to maintain structural integrity and airtightness, such as replacing Lockers with Steel Catwalk Plates to plug the hole, or beds with sideways facing corridor blocks the way people used to do beds before the Decorative Pack DLC. Just pick whatever block best matches the structural and airtightness pattern of the original, even if it's no perfect fit it's still better than nothing in most situations.

Back when you released the first DLC you said you wouldn't split the community with it. Please make good on that promise. Again, this problem will only get worse the more DLC there is.
