And idea for better block placement
Blocks like lights, button pads, and other things that aren't actually blocks should be able to have more freedom on where they are placed. For example, placing a button pad on a slanted slope, or a light on the edge of a ship. Placing lights, button pads and sensors in the same block as each other or any block that doesn't take up the entire cell of which is was placed in. Placing lights directly on conveyor tubes would be great for any factory style build. And cook light designs would be even more possible. This feature would make compact ships much easier to build.
The blocks would include but aren't limited to
Lights
Sensors
Button pads
Interior turrets (on angled surfaces)
Windows (to be flush with slopes)
And maybe antennae specifically just for sloped edges
