Alternate toolbar text display

When sitting in a cockpit, control seat, or accessing a remote, we are forced into using Keen's icon system to describe the functionality of each item in the toolbar. Some functionality is obvious but others are not... as only the values of the action are displayed and not of the names. The only way to research what a specific toolbar button does is to hover over it while in the G menu for programming toolbars.

With that said, I'd like an alternate display system to be available. It would replace the 9 icons with nine text fields. Those additional text fields would be available to program by simply adding them (81) to the list of lcd screens available for a cockpit.

Those lcd screens would be accessible by programmable blocks as well... just like the others in the cockpit. There should be a check box in the terminal menu of the control block to enable or disable the alternate display. When disabled, the toolbar would return to its standard view.

This would allow players to label with text, textures, background colors... or even populate the toolbar with additional information via programmable blocks like MMasters Automatic LCDs.

The underlying functionality would still be the same. Pressing the corresponding number key on the keyboard activates any block/group action programmed underneath it.

The ability to control grids with a more sophisticated system... or a system that's easier to read... or one that really takes advantage of some decent C# scripting, would lead to some really fantastic creations and would also be a feature that competing games lack... as far as I know.
