Adding Water & Using existing Mechanics to make Objects Swim

We need Water, not only to build Water-Crafts but also for Optics. Would be nice if you added water so we could build ships which use airtightness to float on water and sink once there's not enough air remaining in the ship. Now you might ask: "But what if people turned airtightness off?", well there's 2 ways of facing this, first would be to disable building on water and second is you just can build on water but it won't float but instead sink on purpose like a submarine with wheels. In case of the 2nd scenario the Craft would require oxygen for all the parts (like engines) to function properly. When the Craft runs out of Oxygen parts like engines take damage until they're no longer functional.

By this people could also build pillars underwater and a base onto those in the middle of a lake/ocean. Now if you decided to do this you could also emulate water to oil, add "real" fuel and generators which work with this fuel. Oil could just have the physics of water but the spawn mechanism of ore and spawn rate of it should be increased underneath water bodies.

Sincerly,

KNZ
