Accuracy Slider for Remote Control Autopilot

I took a ride on a simple autopilot drone, and I found myself in an interesting situation where the drone spent inordinate amounts of time trying to align itself with GPS points and missing over and over.
Hence, I think it would be good to let the remote control have an accuracy slider. This slider dictates the distance from a GPS point that a remote control must be before it is declared to be at that location.
This would help immensely for making sure patrolling drones can fly around their routes quickly and efficiently without getting stuck in a rut trying to get at the corner and causing traffic jams.
