Let Remote Control Forward Direction Apply to Manual Piloting

I build particularly small and PCU optimized ships. To this end I readily use the different airtightness of functional blocks, the remote control being one that has frustrated me to no end. Unlike many other blocks it must always be placed with its Forward direction pointing towards the forward direction of the ship.
If the forward direction setting also affected manual piloting, that would allow me to use the remote control more often for it's airtightness as well as it's remote piloting.
On that note, it would be cool if we could do the same for other control seats and cockpits. Having consoles facing walls has a particular aesthetic and I enjoy giving secondary uses to such details.
