Drive signatures
The finding people/stealth aspect of this game needs... work.
There needs to be things that can be done to find other players easier, as well as things to lower that chance. For example, building a radio telescope. It should allow players to detect antennas out farther. Not connect to them. But detect them.
There should be different drive signatures. An ion drive should not have any drive signature, while a gravity drive or a hydrogen thruster should be able to be seen on a gravity signature detector and a drive detector telescope respectively. Jump signatures should be a thing. When a person jumps to a location, it should emit a massive jump signature.
Right now, there is no point to doing an ore run in an ion powered ship. You jump to location, jump back home, jump to trade station, jump to ice. Nobody needs ions.
If jump drives gave away positions about where they went to, people would be much more careful with them.
