Semi-neural AI Block
Hello Keen Software House,
I would like to offer an idea and my unpaid cooperation on a new block for Space Engineers: a lightweight semi-neural AI block.
The block would allow a grid to respond dynamically to its environment, learn from a limited set of experiences, and gradually adapt its behavior. Depending on its configuration, it could help a grid adjust navigation, resource management, offensive reactions, or other automated actions according to changing conditions.
The underlying system has already been tested experimentally on Arduino and ESP32 platforms. It is designed as a lightweight alternative to a conventional neural network, using significantly fewer processing and memory resources. This could make it more suitable for a real-time simulation involving many active grids.
The current prototype is not yet integrated into Space Engineers, but I believe its principles could be adapted to the game’s AI and automation systems. I would be happy to provide more technical information, demonstrate the concept, and cooperate on adapting it to the game.
I am offering this as unpaid cooperation because I would like to contribute an interesting new automation mechanic to Space Engineers and explore its potential together with your development team.
Thank you for considering my proposal. I would be glad to discuss the concept in more detail.
Best regards,
Bohumil "Akamura" Tuček
