Vanilla Weapons Range

With the new Warfare 3 updates on the road map. Can we get extended ranges on all vanilla (non-handheld) weapons?
Would be amazing to not need mods to adjust ranges to higher amounts for fun and crazy clang antics. I can see the laughs now, Gatling rounds coming out of seemingly nowheres from 10k away.
