Set And Move changes minimum and maximum

The option "Set And Move" doesn't just set a distance and move to it, it also changes the maximum extension of the piston to it. After doing that you can't move the piston by reverse or velocity change anymore, so i have to have a timer block change the minimum and maximum extension back to 0 and 10m after every "set and move" command.
Would it be possible to make "set and move" move the piston to a set distance without changing the minimum and maximum extension?
