An update dedicated to preformance
Space Engineers's poor performance handling is weighing down the game in an embarrassing way. Excessively long load times with mods and issues linked to very large grids or a large amount of grid edits on one world are causing severe simulation speed drops down to 50% or less, leaving almost no capacity for default large structure building.
Additionally, due to the insane amount of RAM usage and the simple fact that newer devices have weaker ram capacity due to the market price skyrocketing, It's nearly impossible for several devices to run large worlds with what I like to call "mega-grids" which are grids with a very high block count. This leads to the game often outright failing to load the multiplayer session upon connect, teleporting the player to the center of the world and breaking the game entirely for them. And there's no soft warning to it either, if the game slightly runs out of ram during load it just gives up
Please prioritize an update like this for the summer. The game needs optimization more than ever
