Dear Keen Software House Team,

First, I want to thank you for your work and updates on Space Engineers. I have been playing the game for many years and I really enjoy it. I have noticed something that could make the game much better, especially for players who use many mods.

Problem:

Right now, players with many mods must sort them by hand to make them work in the correct order. If the order is wrong, the game shows many log errors and sometimes mods do not load correctly. For example, I use almost 100 mods. Sorting them manually is very long and frustrating. Many players are not programmers or game developers, so this is very hard for them.

Suggestion / Idea:

  1. Automatic Mod Sorting: The game could automatically sort mods in a logical order when they are activated or when the game starts. Sorting could be based on mod type (Framework, Weapons, Production, Energy, Blocks, etc.) and dependencies. This will reduce log errors, prevent loading problems, and save a lot of time.
  2. Profile System: Players could create profiles that save the active mods, world settings, and hotbars. With one click, the profile loads all mods, world settings, and hotbars correctly, without repeating manual work.
  3. Hotbar Saving: The game could also save the current hotbar (build toolbar). Players can return to their favorite layouts anytime, which is very useful for big or personal builds.

Benefits:

  • Less errors and log problems
  • Save hours of manual work
  • Easier for players without technical knowledge
  • Better game experience and more fun

I believe this feature would help the community a lot and make mod management much easier and faster.

Thank you for considering my suggestion! I hope it can be in a future update.

Best regards,
