Feedback on Regional Pricing (Brazil)
I’d like to raise a concern about the recent price adjustment in Brazil. The game went from around R$44 to R$109, which is a very significant increase and makes it much harder to recommend to new players.
From the outside, it looks like the pricing may be based mostly on direct exchange-rate conversion. However, this approach doesn’t reflect the reality of local purchasing power. Steam itself provides guidelines and alternative models, such as purchasing power parity and multi-variable pricing, which tend to result in more balanced and accessible regional prices.
I genuinely like the game and would love to see it grow, especially among new players. But at the current price point, it becomes difficult to justify for many people in this region, particularly for a title that has been on the market for several years.
I hope you can take another look at regional pricing, as a more balanced approach would make a big difference for the community here.
