Rover AI blocks
I suggest that Keen make special AI blocks to automate rovers.
It currently takes a monumental amount of effort to automate a rover to drive unattended from connector A to connector B.
It's possible, but effectively out of reach for most players do to the lack of fun they'll have trying to set it up... and the amount of time it will take. But who wouldn't want an automated rover driving back and forth between your bases distributing materials? Or maybe you want to build a shuttle system that doesn't require rails?
My suggestion is to have a special AI block for controlling rover movement. So that the rover actually steers with it's wheels to reach a destination, and evaluates the terrain as it moves. Mayb it uses a camera? Maybe it develops it's own internal map for how to get from a to b, that it uses unless disrupted?
Like the current remote, it would allow triggering of event controllers or timers at gps points. Maybe it would have special commands that could be implemented.... or called. Like "dock to connector".
Keen, you guys have been doing a bunch of stuff with AI. How about it?
