I'd like to see a second type of warhead added to the game. It will be less powerful than the vanilla warhead. But the area affected by the explosion can be selected by the player.


Using the same system as the sensor, a play can define the area to be effected by the explosion. The smallest area will be just the block itself.


Usage:

Breaching charge. Setting the area just large enough to gain access to the interior of a grid without destroying vital blocks.

Explosive bolt. Think of a multi-stage rocket and sheering the connection between the stages without damaging the rest of the rocket.

Ejection systems. Removing blocks above/below an escape capsule, so that it may be jettisoned.

Traps/Defenses. Setting up traps for other engineers that breach defenses that don't destroy vital areas.
