Make SE1 engineering more hardcore.

To keep SE1 alive, add more complex engineering.
There have been many posts asking for all sorts of complex engineering features.
Now that SE2 is almost playable and is more game, less engineering than SE1 can some of those engineering requests be tried out on SE1 for those that enjoy a more complex challenge.
Bringing more engineering into SE1 could keep many players with Keen, that would otherwise find SE2 too simplistic. You never know, some new gameplay in SE1 may translate to SE2 eventually.
