Simple Apps for vanilla LCD's

I enjoy playing with the HUD completely off for added immersion, but I don't like having to resort to complex scripts to play smoothly, and I understand that console players don't have this option either. I'd like to suggest that LCDs have a Toolbar app, so you can view the toolbar settings on an LCD with the HUD off, creating a more immersive dashboard. Another suggestion is a digital speedometer app that has the same progressive speed animation as the HUD.
