Adding consumables to the hotbar

With the hotbar, we are able to use tools and place blocks, but it occurs to me that in the wake of the Apex Survival update, we should also get the ability to put consumables into the hotbar so we can select it in our hand and then use the item to consume it. Other survival games have this as a feature and would help in some cases where you can't just go into the inventory due to time constraints. Plus, it could help in some cases to improve immersion in the game where you could move something in your inventory to the hotbar.
