Hatch and car door block

I feel a hatch block would be nice as currently if you have an imbedded cockpit on a vehicle you cant access it, there are some things like a panel that you can open and close, the problem is that you cant close it if your in a cock pit, I was trying to build a tank and armored car and wanted to use the rover cockpits but there open to the void of space, a block that you could click and it would automatically bring you into a connected cockpit or seat would be great so i can build a atmosphere controlled vehicle without needing a sealed cockpit
