Unlock the Full Potential of Antennas || Enable Action Relay Reception While Broadcast Is Off
Not Enough Votes
Right now, antennas with broadcast disabled are completely cut off from action relays — but they shouldn't be.
Action relays are designed to trigger smart behaviors between blocks, and there’s no clear reason antennas should need to be actively broadcasting just to receive a signal. If antennas with broadcast off could still receive relays, it would unlock a whole new layer of control and creativity, without adding complexity.
This simple change would:
- Make it easier to trigger actions on nearby grids without unintentionally chaining to distant ones
- Enable stealthy ships or defenses that stay silent until activated remotely
- Let drones coordinate with only nearby allies instead of broadcasting to the whole network
- Give non-broadcasting antennas a real, functional purpose
- Open up new tactical options for PvP, exploration, and scripted missions
It’s a lightweight tweak that would give builders more flexibility, smarter systems, and cleaner designs — with no downside.
