A new camera mounted on a connecter

I would like to propose a new flush mounted camera which is designed to be recessed into a connecter.

Its orientation should be adjusted according to the positioning of the connecter its mounted to. Ideally the keys to adjust the center point would be shown on the edges of the screen according to its orientation.

If its on the W or S side of the ship; A, D, C, and Space should be used to adjust its center point. W and S would be used to adjust the distance from.

It should come with a reticule to be used to aid in lining up with a connecter on another ship/station. Additionally it should show the range to the connecter in the center of the reticule, but only if its within an adjustable distance of it. It might be good if it showed whether the camera is perpendicular to the connecter in the view, or its variance from perpendicularity. Perhaps a hotkey could be added to have the gyroscopes automatically adjust the orientation of the camera/ship to the connecter on the other ship/station; but only if the range from the camera to the connecter is greater then an adjustable minimum.

Alternatively, a new connecter with a built in camera would also work.
