move factorum update away from vanilla experience

hello!

with factorum update you have introduced new blocks that are way stronger than the blocks already present in the game

by letting factorum to be the part of your vanilla experience you will find yourself in a situation where you will never be able to satisfy your players because they will always want better, and better blocks - effectively creeping power away from creators degrading their creation's effectiveness, and practical "value".

it is not just about creators. by changing the game ever so constantly people's knowledge of the game will also weaken to the point where a new player will be less interested to start to play with that is overly complicated in the beginning facilitating gameplay of more experienced players who know much much more about the game. in other words with this action you divide experienced players from not experienced players to an even greater extent - that will eventually make the game to be played like "pick up and play" impossible - but instead will force new players to dive wikipedias that they do not like to do, and will possibly leave - rendering the game less available.

if you do not decide to make the overpowered parts in the game to be rather present in an "optional in house mod", then you will force yourselves to make never ending work with trying to satisfy the player base with stronger and stronger blocks that will only creep even more things away from them.

for example once you have added all necessary functional blocks to be lootable from the factorum faction, you will then only be able to add a new faction with new lootable blocks that will creep away even more power from your community in whatever extent

worse thing is you will not be able to ever stop adding new factions with new blocks to the game that are just stronger, and stronger, and make me (and possibly others) disgusted of the game

please stop to creep power away from your own community, and make the factorum parts optional in the game - far far away from vanilla

i can imagine the factorum blocks as part of an "optional in house mod" that does not creep away anything from the players who enjoy the survival experience, neither the building aspect of the game, neither possibly other aspects of the game

i would also like to suggest you to offer players something else in the encounters. i find myself getting to any encounter even if it is just a bunch of wreck, i do not need incetive to get there.

recently i suggested players to be able to build a block that can teleport them straight up, and away from planets just like a jump drive would, yet it is buildable only to the surfaces of planets, and it stays in place when the player uses it, and is able to teleport players from planet to planet gravity field (in case they build it right beneath the other planet - as it only jumps things straight up). these places are encounters itselves, and if you make it into the game you can make it as an npc faction that builds these between planets and offer the value of being able to teleport from one planet to the other on foot, or with using a vehicle that is using atmospheric thrusters only - so you do not need to introduce power creep mechanisms to the entire game, you just need to use the already present concepts (such as jumping) with the already present parts that are as strong as they are - in order to make good encounters

https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/48012-one-way-stargates-exclusively-built-on-planets

so these encounters can not only contain "loot" for power creep parts, but ability to do something too - such as a jump gate on a planet's surface, or even in space that players can use to teleport their ships away from it one way (not back), or even a block towards which any player can teleport to even without jump drives, but the players can not teleport away from it even with jumpdrives, -such that you can make players to choose to be forced together to do pvp over a not power creeping resource

power creeping is for mobile games, not space engineers
