Thruster sound in left ear only

There is an audio bug present no matter what save, setting or output device.
The sound that plays when using any type of large grid thruster is played only in the left ear.
It appears only on large grid ships in the vacuum and it's only the specific sound of "engaging" the thruster. And for some reason some bigger ships don't have this sound.
I submit a save containing a tiny ship that does present this problem, but I'm unsure what the source of the problem could be.
I checked the drivers, multiple audio devices and settings, on multiple saves, with and without mods.
