Quality of Life Improvements

1. Inventory Display App (for LCD)

  • Show a categorized list of items across the entire grid (optionally including connected subgrids).
  • Display total amounts of each item.
  • Allow players to set quotas for specific items and show a progress bar indicating current stock levels (or use default quotas if none are set).
  • Include item icons for a consistent UI experience.
  • Optionally show items in production queue to be done
  • For ingots optionally show amount of ore yet to be smelted

2. Production Quotas for Assemblers

  • Allow setting a production quota for each item, ensuring a steady supply without constant manual adjustments.
  • Implement a minimum ingot quota, preventing automatic production if ingot reserves fall below a set threshold. Players would still be able to manually queue production if needed.
  • Enable the ability to select a blueprint in an assembler, automatically queuing all required components for that blueprint.

3. Projector Stats and Improvements

  • When selecting a blueprint in a Projector or Console Table, display the total required components and ingots needed to complete it.
  • Provide an option in the Console Table to view the full blueprint, including subgrids, along with a breakdown of required components and ingots.

4. Inventory System Tweaks

  • More sorting filters, such as Weapons, Energy, Production, Tanks, etc. Cargo containers should have their own category, while armories, crates, and beds fall under "Miscellaneous."
  • Separate the ‘Own Grid Only’ toggle from other filters, allowing for combined filtering (e.g., filtering for cargo while showing only your grid).
  • Add a "Leave Empty" option for inventory. Items would automatically be pushed to other available inventories, ensuring that no new items enter here. This is especially useful for connectors or small cargo containers that need to remain empty but still allow item transfers and access to the entire inventory system.
