Warfare updates and a lot of other stuff (suggestions)

Keen, here are some things I would love to see in the next warfare updates and other updates to come. If some of these will never be added, I understand, but these are some features that would change warfare and other aspects of the game for the better. I know this is a whole lot to ask for but I might as well throw some things in knowing either way not all of them will be added.

These are some weapons and tools I would like to see in future warfare updates:

Flamethrower- A rather small weapon used for flushing players out of their vehicles/stations from exposed areas leading into the grid. Doesn't do much damage to the grid, but is very useful against players. The flamethrower also has a handheld tool variant.

Laser- Extremely powerful weapon with a colossal power draw and short range, used to cut ships in half.

Heavy Artillery- More powerful than standard artillery, its main use is planetary bombardment from the upper atmosphere. It has significantly increased range compared to basic artillery.

Warfare Gatling Turret- A turret for a Gatling Gun already in the game.

Warfare Rocket Turret- Again, just a turret for a Rocket Launcher already in the game.

Prototech Plasma Gun- An extremely powerful weapon similar to a Railgun but with increased damage and range. Very hard to obtain.

Prototech Plasma Turret- A turret for the Plasma Gun, that is smaller and does slightly less damage but still very powerful.

Prototech Ion Gun- Powerful weapon used to temporarily disable ship functions and suck power out of batteries through armor.

Prototech Ion Turret- Smaller and less powerful than the Ion Gun but it still gets the job done, especially when dealing with small grids.

Prototech Laser- An EXTREMELY powerful weapon with such an incredible power draw you will need an insane amount of Prototech power generating/storing blocks on your grid. It has increased range and power compared to the standard Laser. Near impossible to obtain, but for good reason.

Here are some other features I would like to see besides just weapons and tools. I know some of these will take longer than others, partly because they include AI development and pathfinding but I do hope some of these make it into the game.

Improved AI/NPC tactics during warfare- Right now, during war NPCs wont even attempt to find you, attack you, or care about. And even when you do engage in combat with NPCs they just fire turrets at you and continue flying aimlessly around, (besides the Factorum). Also improved warfare between NPC factions.

Improved Cargo Ships and NPC ships for warfare- We also need more Cargo Ships and Militaristic ships controlled by NPCs. Regarding basic Cargo Ships, I think they need to be expanded upon with quite a lot of different types. They should also be carrying out specific objectives like transporting cargo between PEs and Economy Stations. Regarding NPC ships for warfare, instead of just having drones attack us, why not warships and dreadnoughts? You can only fight so many drones without realizing I want larger, more challenging ships, right?

Factorum hunting you down for their tech- Something that would increase the risk and reward of attacking the Factorum is having the Factorum hunt you down for their lost tech. Why would they go to such great lengths to make sure their technology can't be reverse engineered and then not care when you take their tech? I think the way this should work is depending on how much Prototech is stolen, how much damage you do to their forces, and just how overall how much they think your a threat, they will send more powerful forces at you. They will send recon drones, and once they find, you better be ready for a massive attack, depending on how big of a threat they think you are.

Improve weapons already in the game- Something I've been thinking about for a while now is weapon revision. I think that some of the weapon ranges are too short. This may have been on purpose for more immersive battles, but I'm all about the realism of Space Engineers. Anyway, here's what I'm proposing: Changing Gatling gun range to 1000. Rocket Launcher range to 2000, and assault range to 2000, and artillery to 2500. I'm not sure if the Railgun's range is realistic or not because for a weapon like that you need a big thing of concentrated energy, so I'll leave that be.

Ships being launched by stations and Planetary Encounters- Another thing I've been wanting is Cargo Ships being launched or landed on PEs and Economy Stations. It would be cool to have trade lanes between PEs and stations that have denser amounts of ships going back and forth whether to plunder or trade.

Bear with me, one last thing.

Expanded Planetary Warfare- The last feature that I think should be added is expanded planetary warfare including NPC rovers and use of NPC ships on planets. Now, I know that's what Planetary Encounters are for, kind of, but only a few of them launch drones, and they're all static grids that have to be attacked rather than attacking the player. I think the way this should work is depending on what type of PE it is a rover/drone can spawn inside or around it, if it has some sort of hanger/garage or outer platforms, rather than spawning the PE and drone separately. They should still be able to call in reinforcements after their drone is gone, but I think it is cool if the drone/rover takes off from inside the base and can go back inside after the threat is gone or neutralized. I know you guys are undoubtedly working on this but we need more PEs and Cargo Ships. It would also be cool if we could get Factorum Planetary Encounters.

Well, that about sums up ALMOST everything I want to see in the game. If you read this whole thing thank you, and sorry it took your entire life to read, but I just had to get that out. I'm saying this again, I know some of these will never get implemented or they might take a while, but I do hope to see some of these features added to the game. Again Thank You for reading this Keen.
